'Learn how to DJ' is another new course, also led by Andre Thomas, where students can learn how to DJ like the professionals, using Technics turntables. These one on one lessons are usually available in late afternoon, to late evening depending on the availability of the student and the Beat Box 47 studios .
DJ lessons are currently $30 ECD per person per hour lesson.
Andre Thomas is the music technology tutor, aka DJ Biz.
Andre Thomas is a professional DJ & producer who ran his own company, Beathut for over seven years in the UK. Beathut supplied hip hop & R&B music to major & independent retailers in addition to running the Beathut music store online & off Regent St in Central London, consultancy, PR & production.
DJ Biz is a known DJ in Grenada, playing in numerous clubs around the island.
DJ Biz is currently heading the Urban Music Production course at Seales School of Music & Performing Arts in St George's on Lucas Street offering students a chance to produce their own music, in addition to teaching students how to DJ with turntables.
